The whole item is in very good condition. The lacquered brass gleams. The lid is decorated with a design that the maker's named Linen and also pale pink Dog roses with two tone green foliage. This decoration also bears the artist's signature ERIKA. The mirror gives a good and clear reflection. The catches and hinges work perfectly. The
