Antique Japanese Meiji Era c1920 Keyaki Wood Haribako Sewing Tansu 9" Goban They remain in fine conditionThis is an antique Taisho era (c. 1920's) sewing box with an arrangement of three exterior drawers. The lidded top section is divided into three areas. This type of tansu chest was used to store valuables as well as equipment for the person of the house to do repairs on Kimono and bedding.
