It's not as blatantly pay-to-win as other games
Unlike most Equipment decks that rely heavily on expensive utility cards like Sword of Feast and Famine for mana and Sword of Forge and Frontier for draw, Nahiri provides all the mana advantage and card advantage we could ever desire and actually prefers cheapo garbage-looking equipment to help enable her: equipments that already come equipped so they can immediately trigger Nahiri like living weapons (Batterbone), for mirrodin (Hexgold Halberd), similar stuff without a keyword (Barbed Spike), and also equipments that enter equipped (Maul of the Skyclaves) and equipment creatures (Lizard Blades)
Finally, the real kicker is the type - Water - and not only that, the fact that it's not limited to Water-type Pokmon, like Erika is with Grass, but any Pokmon with a Water-type energy attached
Thats totally busted
If youre planning to get just one to play with and upgrade, our pick is the Sapphire/Steel Starter Deck
Its often risky to tap out for expensive spells, however, especially when there are blue players at the table
