Dismantling Wave can cover your bases by completely clearing the field of artifacts and enchantments too, and while 8 mana is absurdly expensive for this effect, you do also receive a few upsides: This ability cant be countered by most counterspells This ability is available at instant speed You get to draw a card This wont always be worth the extra mana youd pay over something like Austere Command or Cleansing Nova, but when it is, its probably saving you from losing the game
