The best strategy I've found against Tron is to just play an aggressive deck and have some Ghost Quarters
Tap for green mana per Elf, fueling plays while Archdruid also buffs them
In Limited very few decks could defeat a Masticore even if it had no backup at all, and despite a huge portion of the cost of this card being something you need to pay continuously often players who used Tinker would go get a Masticore
Ultimately, while Magica has a very cool and unique effect, I don't see the deck she wants to go in being very consistent, so I think she is a relatively mid card
If either you or your opponent resolves a card that says you become the monarch, they immediately become monarch
I feel confident in saying that MTG is bigger than ever, and I wouldnt be writing this piece if I wasnt exposed to its brilliance both as part of my job and the existence of crossovers which gave the fan service I needed to stand up and take notice
